The event is led by an experienced Spanish teacher, so you’ll get gentle guidance, helpful tips, and support while keeping the conversation fun and natural.
What to expect:
This is a relaxed and interactive way to practice conversational Spanish. You’ll take part in 4 guided 10-minute rounds, chatting with people at a similar level so conversations feel natural, enjoyable, and confidence-boosting.

How it works
At signing up, you’ll complete a short form to indicate your Spanish level. Based on this, participants are divided into three groups for smoother conversations, less English, and more confidence:
Level 1: Principiante (A1–A2)
Level 2: Intermedio (B1)
Level 3: Avanzado (B2–C1)
You’ll be paired with participants at your level throughout the event.
After the conversation rounds, we come together over coffee - a chance to keep chatting, connect naturally, and enjoy being part of the community.
For those who want, there’s the option to stay for brunch at the same location.

Un evento social de práctica de español para expatriados en Valencia que quieren conocer gente con intereses similares y ganar confianza al hablar español sin presión.
Nada de español de libro ni conversaciones superficiales.
Solo conexiones auténticas, significativas, y un café incluido en un local cercano.
El evento está dirigido por una profesora de español con experiencia, así que recibirás orientación amable, consejos útiles y apoyo, manteniendo la conversación divertida y natural.

Cómo funciona
Al registrarte, completarás un breve formulario indicando tu nivel de español. Según tu nivel, los participantes se dividirán en tres grupos para que las conversaciones sean más fluidas, con menos inglés y más confianza:
Nivel 1: Principiante (A1–A2)
Nivel 2: Intermedio (B1)
Nivel 3: Avanzado (B2–C1)
Durante todo el evento, se te emparejará con participantes de tu mismo nivel.
Después de las rondas de conversación, nos reuniremos para un café: una oportunidad de seguir charlando, conectar de manera natural y disfrutar de formar parte de la comunidad.
Quienes lo deseen, también podrán quedarse a un brunch en el mismo lugar.

What Spanish level do I need to attend?
All levels are welcome! Participants are paired by level so whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced, you will practice Spanish with other participants at your level.
Is this a Spanish class?
This is not a class but a guided speaking activity designed to help you practice real conversational Spanish in a relaxed social setting. The focus is on speaking imperfectly, connecting and building confidence. No textbooks or complicated grammar.
I’m nervous about speaking Spanish, is this for me?
Absolutely! This is a pressure-free space where mistakes are welcome. Conversations are adapted to your level and guided so that you can express yourself naturally.
How does this activity work?
You’ll take part in short, guided conversations with different participants at your level, followed by quality time to connect more freely over good coffee or tea. A Spanish teacher is present throughout the experience to support and help if you get stuck.
Is it only for expats or native Spanish speakers too?
Not at all. Spanish, Coffee & Connections is open to everyone. The mix is actually what makes it special: different backgrounds, different accents, real life conversations. We’ll group the people based on language level so everyone feels at ease and can enjoy without pressure or awkwardness.
Is this event for women only?
This event is open to everyone.We aim to create a safe, relaxed, and respectful space for all participants.
